Watch out, folks: Dave Bautista is back with another big budget thriller, and the plot of this one looks almost inspiringly ridiculous.
The trailer for The Killer’s Game follows a hitman called Joe Flood (Bautista), who after being diagnosed with a terminal illness decides to (somewhat inexplicably) put a hit out on himself. The even more ridiculous twist is that he was actually given the wrong results – he’s not dying after all! – meaning he then has to escape from all the people he previously wanted to kill him.
Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Pom Klementieff, and Ben Kingsley star in this very tongue-in-cheek action-comedy.
The Killer’s Game is coming to theaters Sept. 13.
