The two models use the same V9 motor and the same three air settings. The difference lies in the included attachments.
The Dyson Supersonic Origin comes with just one attachment: the styling concentrator. The Dyson Supersonic comes with five attachments. If you can live with four fewer styling attachments, the Origin might be the way to go.
Dyson designed the Supersonic Origin with Air Multiplier technology, which uses a powerful air flow to cut down on frizziness and protect hair from the extreme heat that typically comes with blow drying.
