The Series 9 packs a handful of fancy new features compared to previous models, including Double Tap and a 2,000-nit display, which makes it more readable in sunlight (one of Mashable Senior Editor Stan Schroeder’s favorite features). The M2 iPad Air saw its first price drop before it even made its debut earlier this month. Now, just weeks later, it’s got its second price drop. The iRobot Roomba j9+, aka the non-hybrid version of the very best Roomba (it removes the mopping aspects from the design), is back down to its all-time low price at Amazon as of May 29. It’s still packed with iRobot’s strongest suction power yet and the most reliable small obstacle avoidance we’ve tested. Plus, stripping the mopping pad and water tank from the design knocks the price down by $400. With the current discount, the j9+ can be yours for only $599 — that’s 33% in savings.
